Reporting Overview for Admins

This overview will cover the reporting feature of the Travitor platform.

Within the Reports tab,  the admin will be presented with a dashboard view of Quick Reports,  which displays data from the various levels of activity that can be performed on the system,

and Custom Reports, which displays specific reports according to parameters set by the admin.

From Quick Reports, select any of the reporting levels provided for a more in-depth look at the data.  In this case, we will look at users.  FYI - each of these quick reports look and function the same.

A dashboard view of the selected reporting level will appear and display a visual representation of the user activity.  Data can be sorted by the time parameters located on the top, left side of the screen.Data from this reporting level can also be exported by selecting the "Export" link on the top, right side of the screen.  A .csv file will be generated.

By scrolling down on this page, additional data is revealed; most notably, the "Breakdown", which displays data on the individual users contained in this report.

Selecting a user will display a visual representation of that individual's activity.  Data can be sorted by the time parameters located on the top, left side of the screen.  Data from this reporting level can also be exported by selecting the "Export" link on the top, right side of the screen.

Scrolling down on this page reveals additional information, including another "Breakdown", which displays the courses that the individual user has been assigned to.

Selecting the course will display the full course detail page.

By selecting the Manage Students tab,  all students associated with the course will appear.  In this case, the user that we identified earlier is displayed.

Selecting the user reveals that user's course transcript.

With Custom Reports, an admin can draw out more granular information on a specific data-set.  Selecting the blue plus icon on the bottom right of the screen will create a new custom report.

To proceed, name the report and select the desired reporting area.  In this example, we chose courses.

Next, select the specific criteria that's relevant to the report.  Selecting the Generate Report button to proceed.

The report details page will now appear.  This data can be filter by time/date range and also exported, vis a .csv file.
